A funny dog-and-rabbit clip is going viral for turning a simple potty break into a full spy mission. Sophie, a German Shorthaired Pointer, spots a bunny living in the front bushes and instantly forgets everything else. The best part is how seriously she takes it. With the “Sneaky Sneaky” audio playing, Sophie starts creeping forward like she’s in an action movie.

Dog is extremely cautious about the bunny living in the bushes

The Dog bunny video is by @pointerpawprints, the account behind Maddi and Sophie. In the clip, the owner tries to take Sophie outside for a quick bathroom break, but a bunny near the front bushes throws the plan off. The video location is outside a home in the Chicago area, with a snowy yard and shrubs framing the bunny’s hiding spot.

As Sophie locks in, she moves inch by inch and pauses mid-step to stare into the bushes. She freezes with one paw lifted, then slowly advances again, like she’s calculating every move. The owner says Sophie even sticks her head into the shrub line to watch the bunny up close, and she trembles and twitches a lot with excitement while being told to “be nice” and leave it alone.

The bunny stays surprisingly calm through it all, sitting out in the open like it owns the place. Sophie keeps creeping forward, then stops again, wagging slightly while staying in full “hunt mode.” The owner jokes that every potty break now takes a solid 20 minutes, even though Sophie usually runs out and wants to go back inside fast. By the end, the dog bunny video leans more comedic than intense, because Sophie’s instincts look dramatic, but the bunny still seems totally safe.

Reactions were warm and amusing. One commenter writes, “I love seeing her excited the Creeping the excitement shake when she’s rabbit hunting..?” Another says, “The GSP quiver lol ?(heart emoji)” A third adds, “Haha!! This is the classic GSP stealth watch!” Others laugh, “The bunny standing behind her watching ? ?”
