For his part, he sticks his tongue out to lick her hand. But he gets stuck there for a second. His eyes are still half-closed. It is a very slow, sleepy lick. We’ve seen in previous videos that this Golden Retriever takes a beat before fully waking up.
Eventually, he completes the lick and gives her a few more. Mom tells him, “look at you,” while he keeps kissing her hand. It’s the kind of morning most pet parents dream of, and it’s little wonder that the video has gone viral with over 109k likes.
