A tripod is set up in a quiet room, and the yoga class is finally in motion. But when you share a house with giant roommates, “quiet” is a very temporary concept. This specific video from @thedanesofatlanta shows what happens when big dogs decide your yoga mat is the best place for a wrestling match. Winston and Otis’s mom is trying to lead a class through a spine-twisting stretch. Then the Great Dane brothers decide to join the yoga flow. Winston walks in first, followed closely by Otis. And they both head straight for her while she’s mid-twist. It is the cutest disruption.

Mom doesn’t even look surprised. We hear in the video her telling her yoga students to “just ignore them,” like she’s used to the dogs’ disruption. But ignoring them is basically impossible because they are so large. They are just hovering. Their beings covering most of the frame. She moves into a downward-facing dog position. It’s pretty funny because the actual dogs are trying to find space to stand around her. They wander out of the frame. But the peace doesn’t last long.
Mom continues her instructions. She tells the class to “exhale” and “open your heart.” She’s bending her back and looking up at the ceiling. That’s exactly when Otis decides he wants more attention. He and Winston come charging back into the room. They aren’t interested in stretching anymore. They start playing “bitey face” right over her head.
Otis actually grabs Winston’s giant cheek jowl with his teeth. It’s a full-on sibling scrap. Mom has to completely stop the yoga session. She calls them by name. She tells them to “go” away. But they are just big and energetic and don’t want the fun to end.
Eventually, she has to get up and physically guide them “out” of the room. It’s the only way to save the workout. One viewer mentioned that seeing the dogs mid-workout might actually be motivating. Another person pointed out that doing anything on the floor with these two is just “bold and brave.” People aren’t even watching for the fitness tips at this point. They’re tuning in to see which giant brother is going to cause a scene next.
