There is absolutely no such thing as personal space once Humphrey hops into the car for a drive. He basically treats every car ride like a mandatory snuggle session. He is a Chocolate Labrador living in the UK and posting at @mylabrachildren, and his “real life” involves a lot of affection.
In a new video, the Labrador is caught leaning over the center console just to be as close to his dad as possible. The sunroof is open, and the vibes are great. But his person is actually trying to focus on the road. It’s hard to drive when a big head is resting right on your shoulder.

Humphrey starts off with his chin on his dad’s shoulder, looking like he’s about to drift off. But then he changes his mind. He decides it’s time for kisses. “Humphrey, I need to drive the car, mate,” his dad says in the video. He tells him he can’t be giving kisses every two seconds. But Humphrey isn’t really listening.
He just closes his eyes and soaks up the cheek scritches. And then the laughing starts. Dad tries to be firm, but he can’t help but tell him what a good boy he is. Humphrey just keeps extending his face to get closer. “I know you love me so much,” his dad says while keeping one hand on the steering wheel.
He tells him to have a little sleep and try to relax. But the kisses just keep coming. Humphrey even puts a paw on the armrest to steady himself. He eventually tries to wedge his face between his dad’s arm and the seat. It is honestly the cutest thing.
The post has over 25,600 likes, and the comments are full of people saying they don’t deserve dogs. One person called his dad the “richest man in the world” because of all that love. Another owner of a chocolate Labrador mentioned their 11-year-old dog is exactly the same way. “He’s actually in love with his dad,” the owner wrote in the caption. It is clear that the bond between these two is special.
