Beau actually thought he was the tough guy on the block until a tiny neighbor decided otherwise. It happens to the best of them. Most people see a Rottweiler and think “guard dog,” but over on @beauandbarneyy, the reality is a lot more sensitive.
This big dog is currently trending in a video that captures the moment his confidence completely dropped. Over 6.4k people have already liked the clip because seeing a massive protector turn into a puddle is just too funny. Basically, Beau had a run-in with a Chihuahua, and he is not okay.

Dad is currently rocking him like a baby, focusing on soothing his giant best friend. Beau is smacking his lips and looking genuinely upset. His owner tries to keep it light. “Don’t worry buddy… he’s just a tiny taco with a large bark,” they say. But Beau isn’t buying it.
He even popped into the comments to “explain” himself. “If it fits in a handbag, it fits in my nightmares -” he said, referring to the bully. Honestly, fair point. Seeing this big dog in the video looking so defeated is actually pretty relatable. Those tiny ones are intense.
This isn’t just any pup, though. Beau is a literal model. He was featured in the Australian Fire Fighters Calendar. There is even another clip of him just staring at his own professional photo. Talk about a range! This video, though, seems to be a reprise of his viral April 2024 hit that racked up 1.7 million likes. One fan commented, “Bro’s just a pookie,” and they aren’t wrong.
Another person was just glad “daddy can save you.” But the internet is mostly just sending love to the “big smooshie baby” who just wants a hug. It can’t be easy being that large and that scared of something that weighs five pounds. Poor Beau just needs some time to recover from the interaction. Maybe some “belly rubs” will help, or just more time in dad’s arms.
