An Instagram video captured that moment as a dog named Holly carefully searched through a “stick library” to find the branch worthy enough to take home.

The video, posted by @hollythebluestaffy, opens with Holly standing beside what her owner jokingly refers to as a “stick library.” A large pile of wooden branches sits in front of the dog as she patiently begins inspecting each option. Rather than grabbing the first stick she sees, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier appears determined to make the right choice. Holly repeatedly picks up different sticks in her mouth before quickly dropping them back onto the pile. Some seem too heavy, while others may not have had the right shape or feel.
After sorting through several options, Holly finally settles on one particular stick and confidently walks away with it. Her ears bounce excitedly as she carries it along, making it obvious she is pleased with what she chose.
