According to his owner, he was found on a highway in Philadelphia in December 2024. He was underweight, covered in scars, and clearly in need of medical care and proper nutrition.
Since his rescue, Scar has gained 15 pounds and grown into what his owner describes as “the happiest dog you’ll ever meet.” His physical transformation is obvious, but his newfound confidence and joyful personality are just as striking.
Now, nearly a year after he was rescued, his owner shared a montage celebrating how far they have both come. The video pieces together clips from their life together, showing everything from quiet moments at home to adventures they now share. Throughout the montage, it becomes clear that Scar has become an essential part of his human’s everyday life.
