The very first thing CeeCee does when someone she loves walks by is throw herself into the happiest little play bow. A new video shared by @humanebroward introduces the young shelter dog, who already got one second chance after being transferred from a rural shelter, but she’s still hoping the next person through the door will finally be her family. She’s only a puppy, and even though the shelter staff has clearly won her trust, she’d much rather be figuring out life in a home where every day brings something new.

The clip opens with CeeCee racing over to the second, when her favorite volunteer arrives. Her tail starts wagging so hard that her whole body joins in. Then comes an adorable play bow, and afterward, she stretches herself flat against the floor. This is to try to sneak her nose under the tiny gap beneath the glass kennel door.
She even pops onto her back legs for another hopeful hello. Then immediately drops back down, determined to get just one more sniff or gentle touch. It’s impossible not to notice how excited she is when someone stops to see her.
Young pups are usually very affectionate, and it completely suits CeeCee here. According to her description, she’s the kind of dog who sticks close to her people once she feels comfortable. She also enjoys quiet pets, and, as per the volunteers, occasionally surprises everyone with a burst of puppy zoomies.
The shelter dog’s video has already collected more than 6,000 likes in only a few hours, with viewers falling hard for CeeCee’s joyful greeting. The shelter tells us that CeeCee is friendly, potty trained, easy to walk, gets along well with other dogs, and has even lived peacefully with cats. Right now, confidence is the only thing she’s still building, and that often comes much faster once a shelter dog has a family to lean on.
For now, CeeCee keeps greeting every familiar face with the same excitement. Hopefully, the next one through the door won’t be stopping by for a visit, but to take her home for good.
