This video features a shelter dog named Max who has been abandoned twice and is now searching for his forever home. Every dog deserves to be loved and cared for. However, for this sweet German Shepherd mix, that dream has yet to come true. He has been left behind not once, but twice. Even so, Max refuses to give up. He continues to wait patiently behind the shelter doors, hoping that one day he will find a family that will love him and stay with him forever.

This video highlights the story of Max, a shelter dog waiting for a forever family. The clip was shared by @hicarsondogs on Instagram. The caregiver revealed that when Max first arrived at the shelter, he was severely underweight, weighing only 26 pounds. It is far below the ideal weight of 60 to 90 pounds for a three-year-old male German Shepherd mix. Although he was incredibly weak, Max never gave up and continued to show remarkable resilience.

Max was adopted fairly quickly. Hence, the volunteer kept all the videos she had filmed of him rather than posting them. However, just weeks later, he was surrendered to the shelter once again. Heartbreakingly, Max had now been abandoned not once, but twice. The volunteer shared how painful it has been to witness the pup being abandoned twice. She hopes that the next family will finally give him the love, warmth, and affection he truly deserves.

It is heartbreaking that Max was abandoned again. However, what matters most is that he eventually finds someone who will never give up on him. The sweet pup has since gained weight and now weighs 37 pounds. Although he is still underweight, he is doing much better than when he first arrived. According to the volunteer, Max is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being around people. Despite everything he has been through, he still gets excited for walks and soaks up every bit of attention he receives.

The video captures Max enjoying walks with his caregiver, taking a bath, playing, getting pampered, and gazing at his human friend with pure love. It ends with the adorable pup dressed in a cute outfit, wearing a cap as he continues waiting for the forever family.
