For a puppy, being curious about everything is hardly out of character. Theo just happens to be taking that curiosity very seriously today. In the video shared by @the.o.goldenlife, we see the Golden Retriever puppy watch a robot vacuum roll down the hallway toward him. He tilts his head from side to side as if a different angle might explain what is happening.
The caption from his POV jokingly complains, “I HATE MY PARENTS THEY BROUGHT HOME ANOTHER PUPPY,” because apparently, a quiet, non-barking, non-playing creature has entered his home. Theo is not convinced it belongs there.

The video starts from the corridor, with the robot vacuum quietly making its way through the house. At the other end, Theo is standing behind the couch, keeping a close eye on the thing in front of him. He simply does not understand it. As the robot vacuum gets closer, its head starts to tip from side to side. Then the other side again.
He seems determined to inspect the thing from every possible angle, as though one more head tilt might suddenly make everything make sense. That patience lasts only so long. Because when the vacuum reaches the couch and changes direction, Theo decides he’s had enough. He stomps his paws, hops onto the back of the couch, and finally lets out a bark at the strange machine as it heads around the furniture.
Mom laughs from behind the camera, and Theo briefly looks over at her. Then it is right back to business. He climbs over the couch to keep watching the vacuum as it moves along the other side. There is clearly no chance of ignoring this suspicious new housemate until it has been entirely understood.
Hundreds of people have liked the video, and one viewer responded with a whole row of laughing emojis. The Golden Retriever puppy may not know what the robot vacuum is yet, but he certainly knows it deserves his full attention.
