Golden Retriever Hears Foster Puppies Crying & Brings Them a Very Random Care Package

When this Golden Retriever heard foster puppies crying, he brought them a random care package to help them feel safe and comforted. Dogs can often sense when another puppy is sad or distressed by picking up on their body language or listening to the different sounds they make.

When they notice that another furry friend is upset, they may try to comfort them in their own special way. That is exactly what this sweet furry baby does in the video, going out of his way to bring comfort to the crying foster puppies.

This funny video shows a Golden Retriever bringing a complete care package after hearing foster puppies being sad and crying. The clip, shared by @sommerville.harris on Instagram, shows the sweet dog sitting by a door with several items scattered across the floor. Apparently, he noticed that the foster puppies were upset and decided to step in, becoming their little savior of the day.

He didn’t bring just one item but several, seemingly determined to make the puppies feel better. The dog brought three toys, a shoe, and even a bra, placing all the items by the door as if he believed the puppies could use them for comfort and entertainment.

Nobody knows why he picked those random items, but clearly, he thought they might help the puppies calm down. For him, the toys made perfect sense. Puppies love to play, so bringing them something fun was a thoughtful gesture. The shoe, however, was pretty random, while the bra made things even more confusing.

But when you’re a dog trying to help, you simply work with what you have. He most probably heard the puppies crying and thought, “They need something,” so he gathered whatever he could find that might make them feel better.

The hilarious part is how seriously he takes his job. He carefully leaves the random items by the door, seemingly ready for the puppies whenever they need them. The paw parent wrote in the caption, “One thing you should know about golden retrievers, they’re excellent helpers. Foster puppy crying duty requires immediate backup.” Clearly, the dog took his duty seriously and did his best to help the puppies.
