Sugar had spent most of her young life with one family before suddenly landing in a Georgia shelter. The deafblind pup is only one and a half years old. Her surrender notes said her family could not handle her disabilities. Yet, when a visitor met Sugar at Cobb County Animal Services, she did not withdraw. Instead, the young canine greeted kindness with a wagging tail, excited kisses, and immediate trust.

In a reel shared by @sharing.lov, the shelter dog meets a visitor at Cobb County Animal Services in Marietta, Georgia. Sugar had reportedly lived with her family since she was about five months old. They surrendered her roughly two weeks earlier, saying they could not handle her disabilities. The visitor took her outside to learn more about her personality and mobility.
The moment her kennel opens, Sugar seems thrilled to have company. She jumps up toward the visitor and eagerly leans into affection. Outside, the American Pit Bull Terrier mix moves cautiously while exploring with her nose. The reel says she walks well on leash and carefully checks unfamiliar surroundings. When given space, she finds the fence and appears to use it as a guide.
The shelter dog also explores toys while calmly sniffing around the play area. Her gentle behavior shows how strongly she still seeks human connection. The creator said Sugar may detect some light, shapes, or movement, though this was only a personal observation.
A September 22 update brought hopeful news. The account said thousands of people had reached out hoping to give Sugar a forever home. Another update was promised once everything was finalized through the shelter.
