Hence, she took their time throughout the process. But when she finally found the right home for her, she was overjoyed. At the same time, saying goodbye to Siggi was understandably emotional for her, as she had formed a deep bond with her during her foster journey.
Rescue dog drives to new home with foster mom and fits right in before saying goodbye
The clip begins with the foster mom sharing that it has been a full year since she rescued her foster dog, Siggi, from a shelter, and that Siggi is finally being adopted and will be heading to her forever home. The video shows the fur baby and her foster mom lying cozily on the bed, snuggling, highlighting their affectionate bond.
They then went on a 23-hour drive to bring Siggi to her forever home. The clip shows the dog getting out of the car, excited to meet her new parents, Danielle and Peter. The foster mom shared that Danielle is a dog trainer and photographer. She added that despite working with many dogs through her profession, she was especially happy to now call Siggi her own.
The video further shows Siggi exploring her new home, walking through different rooms, and slowly getting familiar with her surroundings.
The foster mom happily shared that Siggi instantly felt at home. Moreover, she showed her excitement by taking toys out of her basket. Siggi also showed off her skills, explored her backyard, and received plenty of love in her new home.
The foster mom emotionally concluded the video by saying that while it is always difficult to say goodbye. However, she would do it a million times over if it meant giving rescue dogs the second chance they truly deserve.
