At first, Birdie appeared unsure of how to move with the cart attached behind her. The rescuer stayed close, encouraging her forward while another dog happily ran alongside. As soon as Birdie understood how to propel herself, she took off across the sand, surprising even her rescuers with her speed. The caption celebrated the breakthrough, saying, “GO BIRDIE GO!!!.”
