Hazel is simply lying near a window when Dream decides that quiet time is over. The young Australian Shepherd walks up to his German Shepherd sister, rests his face near her neck, and holds himself in a hilariously awkward position, as if he wants to play but is also trying not to disturb her.
The whole scene was caught by @hazel_anddream, and the result is hard not to laugh at. Dream’s lower half stays upright while his front half leans toward Hazel, leaving him in one of the strangest play poses imaginable. The message is pretty clear: this dog wants to play, even if his sister doesn’t.

The video begins near a window, where Hazel is lying comfortably on her side against the wall. She looks completely settled, and Dream seems to have noticed. Instead of letting her rest, Dream stands directly in front of her and lowers his face near her neck. His front end is close to Hazel, while his back legs stay straight and his rear end remains lifted. It is an oddly careful attempt at getting her attention.
The text on the video reads, “When you’re trying to chill but there’s an ADHD nearby,” which aptly explains Dream’s energy. He notices mom filming and gives her a quick look without actually moving from his position. Then his hips wiggle, and another glance at mom follows.
After a moment, he decides the filming has become a little awkward and walks over to mom as if he has a complaint to file. That detour does not last long. He turns around and heads straight back to Hazel. This time, Dream tries a little harder to get her moving. He brings his snout close to her front legs, then gets right up near her face. Hazel finally reacts.
Her response is enough to startle Dream, and the funny moment gets replayed for good measure. He backs off after that, although he does not exactly give up on the idea of playing. Dream walks away but stays nearby, turning around to check on Hazel while she continues lying down.
