Peanut, the senior rescue dog, looks so comfortable in dad’s arms that he can barely keep his eyes open anymore. On the Instagram account @travelwithbollie, the Chihuahua is usually spotted traveling with his family, but he spends most of the video looking completely sleepy and very, very content.
The sweet Chihuahua keeps fighting sleep for a few seconds, then slowly gives up and settles deeper into dad’s lap.

According to the page, this little family is all about giving older rescue pups the adventures and comfort they deserve. And Peanut really does look completely settled here. The footage shows him struggling to keep his eyes open while his human gives him some gentle back scratches. One ear is floppy while the other stands straight up the whole time. Moreover, he looks ridiculously comfortable curled up there getting scratched.
Dogs this tiny can sometimes stay tense for a while, which makes Peanut relaxing like this even sweeter. The fact that this senior rescue dog can fall asleep this easily says a lot about how safe he feels now. He acts like a dog who knows this is his family now.
In another post, his family shared that they rescued him at age ten in October 2025. Since then, he has already traveled to six different countries in their campervan. The page originally started because of another pup named Ollie, who showed the world that older dogs deserve big lives. Now, Peanut’s the one tagging along on campervan trips and keeping everybody entertained.
His owners described him as the “tiniest and tiredest” little guy in the caption. The clip already has hundreds of likes from people who completely fell for Peanut. One viewer mentioned that this senior pup is very lucky to have such a great situation.
Another fan expressed that they love seeing him so safe and happy. Additionally, he has a calm Labrador brother named Barney who helps him feel secure on the road. And truly, he looks happiest just sitting there getting scratches and drifting off to sleep.
