He’s sitting in an awkward little space by a window, but instead of looking outside, the Weimaraner is facing a sunlit corner and keeping very much to himself. The video is shot from the streets, and when the camera zooms in, we see just how determined he is to stay out of whatever is going on.
@viktoriyasasonkina pairs the clip with the caption, “That moment you realize you should’ve asked who’s coming BEFORE saying yes…” It’s a hilarious description, especially once the other dogs in the room come into view.

The video shows the dog sitting by the window. He has squeezed himself into a spot near some furniture and appears perfectly happy to stay there. The camera comes in from another angle, but he doesn’t know he is being filmed. He keeps staring toward the corner. That’s what makes the scene and the dog’s reaction so funny. He isn’t actually using the window as a window. There’s no sightseeing happening. He has simply found a place where he can sit without having to participate.
A wider view explains why. Several other dogs are in the room, with some stretched out beside the window enjoying the sunshine. Others are hanging around inside. This one, however, has clearly made different plans. His face stays completely serious throughout, which only makes the whole thing better.

The way this dog is sitting away from other dogs is a relatable moment for a lot of viewers. “Story of my life,” one viewer admitted. Another simply wrote, “I understand this feeling.” There’s no sign that this dog is upset with the other dogs. He just doesn’t seem interested in joining them right now. And that’s an important difference. Dogs can have very different social preferences, even when they’re comfortable around other dogs.
